Remedial Saddle Fitting

As mentioned previously, much of my work involves assessing alongside vets and Chartered Physiotherapists. 

There is a new system called Pliance which allows the rider to see the pressure points of the back clearly projected onto a screen through all movements including jumping.  The recording is also saved to computer so it can be watched at a later date.  It is an invaluable tool in showing the rider/saddle fitter exactly how the saddle and riders position effects the pressure applied to the horses back.  The Pliance system is available to hire, please contact me if you would like to arrange this.

Saddle Restoration

We carry out full saddle repairs in the workshop.  We are able to completely re-build a saddle if we feel it is viable, though if a tree is broken, weak or damaged, we will advise investing in a new one as this will cause all kinds of damage to the horse.
